An Introduction to Lecture Capture January 2013
A basic guide to the Lecture Capture Pilot available in Gipsy Lane Main Lecture Theatre by Damian Branigan Client Device Development Manager OBIS. Illustrating how to book a lecture capture from the Google Site provided, how to navigate around a completed recording, show information associated with the lecture, how to start and stop the recording and verify that a recording is actually taking place. Note: Booking a Lecture Capture requires a Google Login (email account) and is distinct from Room Booking. Lecture captures are intended to be simple to do and not intrude on delivery of the lecture with little or no post-processing expected.

HLS Annual Research Lecture: Creating a New Taxonomy of Disease
Professor Sir John Bell has been invited to Oxford Brookes to discuss the future of medicine and the role of the Oxford Academic Health Sciences Centre. His research interests are in the area of autoimmune disease and immunology where he has contributed to the understanding of immune activation in a range of autoimmune diseases. In 1993, he founded the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics, one of the world’s leading centres for complex trait common disease genetics.
